    • During this service a pet’s ashes are clearly identified and handled according to the wishes of the owner. We offer a collection service from the veterinary surgery or your home and will return the ashes to you personally in a presentation container of your choice.

    • For your peace of mind, please be assured that the ashes returned to you are solely those of your pet.

    • You may wish to say farewell to your pet by attending the cremation, if so, our supportive staff will make you welcome and offer guidance and advice. You might like to bring your own favourite music to be played, to sign our Book of Remembrance or perhaps sit in the Remembrance Garden and light a contemplative candle or incense.

    • You will receive a certificate of cremation and your pet’s ashes will be given to you to take home in a presentation container of your choice.

    • We guarantee the same level of service if you do not wish to, or are unable to attend an individual cremation; we will deliver your pet’s ashes to your home or veterinary practice along with a certificate of cremation. You are also welcome to collect your pet’s ashes from us in person.
It’s very important to us that you have things the way you want them, if there’s something you would like to suggest, please ask.

As both a fitting and environmentally friendly tribute, Oak Leaves has set aside an area of field overlooking the South Downs where ashes may be scattered or interred, this area will be sewn with wild flower seeds and memorialised by tree planting.

All ashes from Communal Cremations will be interred here and owners of both Communal and Individual Cremations are welcome to visit and scatter their own wild seeds or become involved in tree planting.
